Yorkshire Heritage,

July 6th - 12th, 7 days

It is several years since we last visited Yorkshire, and I would like to invite you to join a tour based in Bingley, close to the heart of Bronte country, and also including a tour of Wensleydale. The tour will start and finish at Bingley or Bradford railway station, and we will be touring in classic half cab coaches – including a personal favourite, a former Royal Blue Bristol L6B. We will be based for six nights at the Mercure Bankfield Bingley Hotel.

Friday) Our coach will pick up at Bradford and / or Bigley station mid afternoon, and take you to our hotel. (Pick up points and times to be confirmed)

Saturday) A full day at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, with the opportunity to travel as you please, stopping off to visit the various museums en route, and Haworth village as you please.

Sunday) First a visit to the Shipley Glen cable tramway, then into Leeds for the Middleton Railway and Armley Mills museum.

Monday) To be confirmed.

Tuesday) We head for Skipton, and take a trip on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, before continuing to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway.

Wednseday) Into the dales today

Thuirsday) Morning tour, before the coach returns to original departure points for afternoon rail connections.

Tour price is just £725 per person, which includes all travel with the group and six nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation at the Mercure bankfield Hotel. A LIMITED number of single rooms are available at a supplement of £120. Deposit £100 per person to confirm bookings please.
