THE WEALDEN PULLMAN

An early season weekend April 9th / 10th

We are pleased to offer another in our series of weekend breaks featuring steam hauled dining trains, on this occasion at the Kent and East Sussex Railway, a line which was for many years part of the Colonel Stephens light railway empire.

The journey begins as you board our vintage motor coach for a gentle ride through picturesque towns and villages, to the attractive wealden town of Tenterden, and our hotel, the White Lion.

Evening dinner is taken aboard one of the beautifully restored dining cars, resplendent with gleaming brass, fine marquetry panelling and ornate tableware, bathed in a romantic glow from your table lamp, as you glide through the Rother Valley. After our journey, you return to the nearby hotel.

On Sunday morning there is time for a leisurely breakfast, before commencing our homeward journey.
