Now in its 41st year, the Great Dorset Steam Fair is generally recognized as the premier event of its kind, not only in Britain, but probably throughout the world.
Steam engines are displayed in their working environment, with demonstrations of heavy haulage, steam ploughing, and the colourful spectacle of the old time fairground. Shire horses at work, vintage vehicle displays and craft tents all add to the interest of this massive show, staged on a 600 acre site near Blandford Forum. We arrive at the show in appropriate style aboard one of our vintage motor coaches.
