I would like to invite you to join a new Christmas Market tour to Colmar, the capital of Alsace, and a well preserved town rich in architectural and cultural history. Described as one of the most unusual and authentically Alsatian markets, it is held at various locations in the town.

OUTLINE ITINERARY

Monday) Morning departure from the London Eurostar terminal to Paris and thence onward by TGV to Colmar.

Tuesday)  A full day to explore the town, stroll along the canals, enjoy the Medieval ambience and the Christmas market, and maybe visit one or two museums.

Wednesday) A short ride to Strasbourg, to discover the city and its own festive market, the oldest in France.

Thursday)  I hope to arrange to visit nearby towns and villages of this wine growing region, such as Eguisheim and Kaysersberg.

Friday) After breakfast we join the Paris train, continuing onward to London.

OUR HOTEL

We have discovered the Hotel St Martin, in the heart of the old town, and a former Patrician residence, with Louis XVI facade, turret, renaissance staircase and inner courtyard.

Tour price is £685 per person sharing twin / double room, with a LIMITED number of single rooms available at a supplement of £140 if required. As usual for our continental tours, accommodation is arranged on a bed and breakfast basis.Deposit £200 per person please.
